Govinda I
The history of the restaurant reaches back to 1996, when an Indian vegetarian restaurant was opened at Belgrad Rakpart. The Govinda was unique throughout the country. After running for six years fruitfully the restaurant moved to the Vigyázó Ferenc street in District V., replacing another famous restaurant, the Gandhi. Here we can wait on our guests faster, thanks to the bigger place and selection.
If you visit us, you can choose from twenty different meals that our warming and cooling counter holds, and various salads from the salad bar. Besides all of these we have self made sweets and special (alcohol-free) drinks. Our offer is renewed day by day, so you won’t loose interest in it. On demand the restaurant can give place for lesser (20-50 persons) parties, but we undertake cooking and delivering meals for bigger (50-150 persons) events, if ordered in advance.
As a basic principle we don’t smoke and don’t drink alcohol, so our restaurant ensures smokeless and healthy environment for our guests.
